I started working in design in the early 90’s as a theatre set and costume designer and quickly got engaged with graphic design. I studied in Athens (TEI), in Madrid (Complutense) and London (Central Saint Martins). I graduated from the MA Communication design, Type & Language Pathway in Jan ‘05. Since then I worked for the Type Museum in London, why not associates and charities in the UK. I feel strongly about the social and cultural value of design and I currently work for the organisation TimeBank, a national volunteering charity. I am very optimistic about the possibilities and scope of design and I am excited to explore this potential in everyday practice.
I teach graphic design at the BA(Hons) Graphic Communication at University College for the Creative Arts (Farnham UK) and I’m a member of ATypI and the Sign Design Society. I live and work in London UK and I’m of Greek descent.
